Salesman's Samples
Miniatures of this type were in vogue up to a century ago and were carried by
travelers to promote and obtain orders for their employers wares. In the same shape and
color as the full-size originals, these samples were easier to transport and took up much less space. I am looking for examples that bear a maker's mark or advertising and not pieces produced as doll's house furniture.
