"Try how to drink and not to spill and prove the utmost of thy skill" This is one of the more common verses found of these interesting trick drinking vessels. To drink without spilling, seal with the fingers the holes on the handle and all but one on the rim. The contents can then be sipped through this aperture. Single items or collections considered.
