Pot Lids
Some of our more prominent early chemists and druggists used advertising on their product containers as early as 1850. Cold creams and toothpastes were perhaps the most common. This period saw a number of chemists utilize this medium to advertise their wares. Such pieces are now highly valued by collectors. Whilst the majority are in black and white, Australia has one of the largest selections of coloured varieties, samples of which are shown above. Will buy or trade.
